Wow! First week with Angora”s and I’m already starting to understand why Angora owners say they are HARD work

It’s funny how every time I go into their cage I say to myself “This time I am NOT getting hair on myself” but still if it’s from 1 minute to 1 hour, every time I walk out I look like an Angora myself because of how much hair is on me.

You also never ever know what kind of grooming it’s going to be like today. They could be shedding like CRAZY! Or just need a brushing through.

They had so many knots their first day here that it took me about an hour to get them all out. Iv’e also learned that you’re going to need some treats on hand for grooming time.

But even though they can be a hassle, they are such sweet, calm beautiful fluffy little monsters

I’ve never had an Angora, but I owned the most beautiful Cashmere lop when I was younger, she was an ex show rabbit, I can’t understand why the girl didn’t want her, she said she was too old to show, I just don’t get it, an animal is for life, yes they do shed a lot, enough to make you a coat!

Hhahahah I know it’s crazy! It’s sad how many show rabbits are up for adoption because they “are not good enough”. All rabbits are perfect if you treat them with care and love
