  I’m desperately in need of some information as I wait to take my bunny to the vet tomorrow. I have a 1 month old baby bunny my (older bunny gave birth) that is bleeding from her private part. I’m assuming that it’s a her due to the way that the privates look but there inflamed and bleeding. What could be wrong with her?

  Could the mother have bitten her there? Rabbits often go for this area.
  
  Are you certain it is blood? Rabbit urine can be reddish, orange or brown and often turns darker colour after exposure to the air.
  
  Is there any diarrhoea? Some bacterial or parasitic infections may cause a rabbit to pass blood. It is a risk with rabbits around weaning age.

  If she is around other rabbits, I would assume its a bite. If she is not in contact with other rabbits, I would assume (without a picture) that its a UTI or other infection.
