I know this may not be the site for this but I trust the rabbit people on here so here goes:

About half an hour ago one of my backyard hens died of an unknown…thing. We have no idea. About an hour ago she was fine and running around, then she got really fatigued and we thought she was cold so we put her by the fire and she just suddenly seized up and passed. Really traumatized, the first chicken we’ve lost since we got them a year ago and she was young, healthy, we don’t know what it was. So my real question is, does anyone know what it could have been or if my bunnies can catch it? My girl, Hermione, was running around the backyard and i locked her inside but I didn’t even notice it in the chicken until it was too late, so I don’t know if she could have it. Does anyone here have chickens? Do you know what could have happened to Mohawk (the little hen that died) and if my buns could catch it?
