Hi guys, Potato is a 12 weeks old boy. When I got him I was told that he is a lion head rabbit. I want to see what you guys think! I have attached some pictures of him:

He does not look like a lionhead. He looks like a mini Rex to me.

He looks ADORABLE. I am only knowledgeable with identifying Netherland dwarves, since that’s what Wick is.

Is he your first rabbit and have you visited a rabbit vet to examine his health right now?

Not a mini Rex – completely wrong shape and fur for mini Rex
I would say Netherland dwarf cross lion head at a guess …

I was going by the ears. I thought they looked either rex like or nethie like but wasn’t sure

                    How sweet!

I can see a bit of longer fur around cheeks and jawline. Maybe a mane will grow in yet… It is possible to have unmaned lionheads though. If he gets some longer fur around his hind end, that’s another trait of lionheads.

Super cute!!! Has the look of a lion to me, even without the mane. And, as Jersey mentioned, a mane may grow later on. That’s often the case.

                        Is cute a breed?

                        I’m going with lionhead mix.

Hi! Yes, he’s my first bunny. Also, I’ve taken to him to the vet and he’s a healthy bunny

Defiantly looks like a lionhead mixed! That’s what my bunny Minnie is! She actually had an accidental litter with an angora rabbit and one of the babies don’t have a lions mane! So yeah it is possible he is lionhead just doesn’t have a big mane!
