  Oliver pooped but it looks a lot like diarrhea. I read online that some of the cecotropes end up looking like pudding, and thats what this looks like. He’s still eating, running around and binky-ing everywhere, he also has produced more hard poop pellets. He’s 4 months old, and he eats a mix of alfalfa and oat hay (I’m allergic to timothy so I can’t give that to him) and pellets. He eats a few veggies regularly too from a list of bunny-safe veggies, but I haven’t given him any in 2 days so I don’t really think that could have been the cause of this. Should I be worried, or is this a common thing???

  Like in humans, diarrhea can come from an upset stomach. If you didn’t change anything diet wise, perhaps he happened upon something on the floor that upset him. If it’s regulated back to normal, I wouldn’t worry about it. If it comes back, you’ll want to monitor his hay eating and watch his diet.

  He could have possibly eaten something he shouldn’t have and because he’s so young (and his gut isn’t fully developed) it set things a bit off. If his poops are back to normal, I wouldn’t worry. If they’re still a little mushy, I’d stick with just hay and water for a week to get things back on track.
