Say hello to the new bunny! I don’t know his name yet, so anyone can give out their ideas! He looks just like a big Reese.
They both love the tunnel!

Oh yeah if you see something in the background, I also found a huge dust bunny under my bed and decided to keep it….
It’s not like I couldn’t resist getting 2 bunnies… maybe…
This is Leo (Short for Leonardo Da Vinci) and he was named by my sister (And is my sister’s rabbit, the only way I could’ve gotten 2).
They are a bonded Bun couple!
Reese is a little suspicious…
And ending things off with a super long bunny
P.S. Would anyone mind changing my name to Reesebun&Co.

That is now his name.
Also, I did the first bonding session because I couldn’t wait, and I think it was a huge success!
Reese only nipped once, and Vinny groomed her!
Here is a pic of them chilling together, and Vinny was even calm enough to lay down! Reese rested her chin on Leo, and her front paws on Vinny.
I didn’t even put them on top of each other like that, they did it themselves!
When Vinny got up, Reese didn’t want to put her paws down. lol, I think she just didn’t like the slippery bathtub.

Vinny suits his name I haven’t had much lucj with bonding so don’t take my word for it but I would let Leo and vinny settle in for a week maybe two before starting pre bonding – then a month later start bonding sessions ie bathtub or other
If you move too quickly their true personalities won’t be shown in the bonding process as they are in strange place and not comfortable yet – which may result in fighting later down the track. Also it could upset the bond between Leo and vinny if you move too fast. Just my touch on advice here They are adorable together and will make a picture perfect trio ( especially with names like Leo and vinny !!)

I’d give them 2 weeks to settle and then reassess then if you think they have really settled and feel safe and trusting of you – the main thing is they need to be relaxed and secure in their environment for at least a week. Then start swapping items like teddies and trays for at least a month before any actual bonding sessions. That’s as far as I can offer advise as mine that did bond were instant bonds in the past – and my recent attempts did not get past the prebonding as our first bath tub session they showed they are out to seriously harm each other
Yours already appear they will have a high chance of working but don’t rush it -
However long it is Reese, 2 or 3 or 4 weeks WILL seem like an E.T.E.R.N.I.T.Y.
(I can’t believe it was only a month ago Baloo’s tumor was found let alone being operated on… it seems like a year ago !! :blink So if it could help you, keep a diary of their progress and you’ll see the days pass and *the* date get closer.
Like…14 sleeps, 13 sleeps and so on. it will help you put things into perspective when you are soooo tempted to try bonding them earlier.
