Never had any animal boarded (had a trusted family member or friend stay over/come over several times a day to care for the animals), but I have been ignored and bunny butted after vacations
Earlier in the year I left to see my grandparents and stayed with them for about 3 days/2 nights. When I got home, Blue was acting like I wasnt there. The other two bunnies were loving all over me, excited to see me home, but Blue would bunny butt me and ignore me LOL. It look a lot of apologizing, pets, hand fed veggies, and forced cuddles for Blue to finally forgive me for leaving. I believe it took about a week for him to forgive me and start loving on me like normal. Poor baby doesnt know this, but Ill be taking the same vacation in a week
