  Today is Wednesday, always on a Wednesday Olly has a little dance when he hears on YouTube some music, I do cooking on a Wednesday, so I look at something called ‘Simple cooking’ as soon as the music starts Olly does Binkies and then looks at the kitchen door, then watches me, after a while he will go back to his Playpen, when I have finished, I start singing. “Simple cooking, simple cooking.” And Olly goes into Binky mode.

  Rabbits can be quite ritualistic and find particular sounds soothing and exciting. It can also be read as a playful situation.

  Rabbits know when their human is happy and maybe he has made the connection between the simple cooking music and you being in a good mood? Mum being happy warrants celebratory binkies, obviously ?

  My Bindi used to binky a lot when he heard a particular Weird Al song!!!! I used to play it for him all the time when he was younger. He can’t hear anymore, sadly but it was really cute.
