Question:

My baby just got neutered on Friday 11/17, so its been about 5 days since his surgery. The day I brought him home and the next day he was not acting like himself but the third day he has been shaking the cage and trying to squeeze himself out. I’m still a little fuzzy on how long he should be kept in a cage? The vet asked me to keep him enclosed for a couple of days but didn’t give me a certain number of days. He seems to be doing just fine, he’s eating, using his litter box, wants to be cuddled, and his incision is looking fine too. I’ve tried to look up how long to keep in a cage but many of the things I read were about a spay and to keep two bunnies separated. Pascal is a single bunny and only shares his space with two puppies. 

Any thoughts on how long to keep him a cage?? I feel so bad leaving him a cage because I know he wants to be free.
