i know you’re not supposed to bathe a rabbit but my rabbit’s fur is greasy in some area’s even her vet recommended i give her a bathe i tried using rabbit wipes but they didn’t work i’m planning to go buy a rabbit shampoo tomorrow but the idea of giving my rabbit a bathe is extremely scary especially after finding out that a bathe can kill a bunny or lead to infections or certain type of illnesses but unfortunately i have no option btw the reason she’s greasy is because when i used to put ear drops in her ear she would shake it please give me some tips on how to give her a bathe without causing her trouble

How about spraying a towel with water and drying with a new towel? I have a set of hand towels for Wick and I used to clean his face fur this way when he had a lot of nasal discharge. Don’t spray the rabbit, but the towels so you can control how wet they are.

Maybe some cornstarch would help? You could apply to the greasy areas and then try to brush it out. Might just make more mess, but maybe worth a try. I use cornstarch when my little Bindi gets dirty and/or wet.
