So today Dasher was digging a huge hole and making a tunnel out of it. The dirt was kinda wet and now she has dirt covering her paws and her stomach. She is super dirty, she has a white paw but now its just dark brown because of the dirt. The dirt has dried onto her fur and its just stuck. Should I do anything to help clean her or will she clean it all out herself? She also has this dirt stuck to her whiskers but its a very thin layer so its just feels kinda sticky and I’m not sure what to do about that either. I know this is a natural behavior but I really can’t have her digging tunnels right next to my house. What can I do to satisfy her need to dig tunnels?

You can make a dig box! Here are some examples:

Essentially a large plastic container she can jump in with something inside to dig. Shredded paper works too!

Ok I’ll make her a dig box! Also would she like it if I made her tunnels to hide in?

              Yes! Rabbits love tunnels.
