I have had my bunny quinn for about a month now, when i first got her we started litter training rigjt away. In 3-4 days she used the litter box perfectly and I gave her more and more space and added a second litter box in her play area. Now my bun just poops everywhere. Its the clumped grape looking ones. I was told the rabbit eats those , she does sometimes but she poops way more. I gave her less space because i,have carpet. I want to know what I need to do . No she is not spayed and yes i know it will help litter training but i cant spay her for another 2-3 months.

Litter training and spay status has no effect on excess cecals. If she’s producing too many cecals, it’s because her diet needs adjusting. What does she get fed?

Water unlimited timothy hay and 1/8 of oxbow Timothy pellets

Hmm. Her diet sounds great. But perhaps the pellets are too rich? Are they adult or junior pellets?

Alfalfa pellets would usually be perfect for a young bun. I wonder if transitioning her to timothy pellets or just reducing the amount would help. Hopefully someone else chimes in!

The alfalfa pellets may be too rich for her. I suggest mixing in timothy pellets or transitioning to timothy pellets (typically advertised for adult rabbits). This is not too unusual, as Wick was switched to adult pellets at 3mo because he was getting too much calcium from alfalfa.
