Fernando is quite the jumper when he wants to be, and both my buns can be remarkable speedsters, so my own X-pen is 42″ tall.

By the way, in the spirit of full disclosure, my bunny’s escapist ways stopped once I expanded his space and got him a friend (both spayed/ neutered). He has since passed, but his surviving friend and her new mate (also neutered) don’t seem to do that. In fact, I have a couple of rooms that are cut off by smaller pens, and my buns have not attempted to jump over to the other side as of today (knock on wood, because just as I type this they may just get it into their heads to try, as bunnies do. They may just make it a joint project… ?).

One of my bunnies can easily jump over three feet, so I personally would look for one thats 4 feet or taller
