I have a problem of our bunny rabbit spray in the bed and marking his territory (I’m thinking….). Alex the rabbit is about 6 months old and was neutered yesterday, so I’m not expecting any sort of change in his behaviour anytime soon.
The problem we have is two-fold.
1. Because of the layout of the house it’s hard to section off some space for him. See I’m in a wheelchair it makes things a little bit more difficult because I have to leave extra space to get around compared to walking. If we did close off the bedrooms they would be left with the hallway and bunny area (toilet tray/his little corner) to roam around in (which is about 32sq meters)
That is the solution that I’m leaning towards.
2. When we have tried to shut the bedroom doors, Alex has to get back in – used any means necessary. Should be just close off the bedrooms and put up with him trying to get back in until Alex gets used to not having as much freedom to move around? ( during the day he has the whole house)
But yeah is it right to say that a lot of his bad behaviours that should be fixed by him being neutered will hang around for a couple of weeks?
