So as of late, I have been feeding Charlie Hatz Rabbit food, with no added mixtures or stuff like that, but when I asked the store I usually got it from for a new purchase, they and all their other suppliers, had stopped providing it, it wouldn’t have been a problem, but I cannot seem to find it ANYWHERE even on amazon! I have been feeding her so far the other type of Hartz food, but it has a lot of seeds and dried veggies in it! Is that okay for her? Will it hurt her stomach? ? I’m kinda stuck between a rock and a hard place right now!

You need to find a quality plain pellet. Seeds are not good for a bun. Switch to a healthy pellet but introduce it slowly.

If you can find some other food that’s just plain pellets, no bits and seeds, I’d change to that instead of feeding her the Hatz food that has bits and seeds. Bits and seeds as a rule leads to selective feeding, ie the bun will only eat the yummy stuff and ignore the rest. That gives them incomplete nutrition. Like if we were only to eat snacks and candy.

Any other plain pellets with a fiber content of at least 20% will do. If she eats hay, the switch shouldn’t be very hard on her, buns that eat hay tend to have a highly diverse GI flora that’s able to deal with most types of food. But if you have a little bit left of the old Hatz food, the best thing is to do a gradual switch and mix in the new pellets with the old for a week – two weeks.

Is it okay if I pick out the seeds/ if she dosent eat the good stuff, not give her more until she eats it all? Is that too cruel?

The bits and seeds can be picked out and used as treats. It’s not cruel. We have to be the responsible parents, because our buns are like little kids who’d eat candy all day if they could. And that would be very bad for them.
