Im finally able to upload a picture of Winnie’s face. Here’s the scoop.. a week ago Winnies right side of her face was wet. I ruled out that it was not her water bowl after days of it being wet and it started to smell. I took her to the vets. Vet looked in her mouth with the otoscope and said her teeth looked fine. No, spurs or infection, inflammation from what he could see. He shaved her face and ruled it out as moist dermatitis, facial dermatitis. He then gave me chlorohexidine 3% pads and zosil which is a sauve/ointment to put each on twice a day. Today is Winnie’s second full day of treament. Her face no longer smells and its drying up, still red and still bothered. Today is day two of meds and it.. so far does not look like its spreading or going away really. Her eyes look good and white, no seeping. She is still eating her hay and pellets and salads and treats. Her poop looks good. She gets excited for pellets still. This picture was taken at the vets after he shaved her face. So, in the pic her face is still kind of wet. Its pretty much all the time dry. except for 2 times, where im assuming her whiskers got in her water bowl.(still dont know about that yet). Vet said give it a couple days and then he would chekc it out again and decide at that point what he should do. Her face furs no longer have yellowish stains. Just red..jpg)
