  Hi everyone…we had the worst day yesterday our poor bunny Daisy had fly strike ..we very nearly lost her. the vet told us she was critical they did everything and sent her home with antibiotics. we’ve been checking her every hour and any further maggots we’ve removed. she has started drinking and is grooming herself a bit. I hope this is a positive sign and that we caught it in time!! can anyone let me know if this is good or if she is still at risk ? thanks!!

  Was she critical then stabalised? Is that why they allowed her to come back home?
  
  What’s her appetite like? Is she eating or are you having to do syringe feeds?
  Did they also send home some pain meds? Rabbits with flystrike need pain managed.
  What was done at the vets? Did they treat with anything to kill off eggs and larvae?
