Yes! I have some friends who took paint buckets, cut the bottoms off of them and buried them in their sides in the dirt. This kept the openings of their burrows from caving in because the bunnies would enter through the mouth of the artificial “cave” and just dig down. however, in their backyard they have property that is raised a couple of feet above the neighboring houses and here after you get a few feet down the ground gets too hard to dig through. My only worry would be the buns digging out and getting away, though I guess if you’re not worried about it it shouldn’t be a problem.
PVC pipes may also work, but it might interfere with insulation. I don’t know all my bunnies are indoor year round. :/
