My rabbit, (who is not spayed due to conflicting morals; long story short) is the sweetest, most sociable rabbit ever, and I worry if she would get to lonley since I can’t bond her because of again, the neutering issue. Can I; (forgive me if this is silly) get her a stuffed rabbit toy? Would she “bond” with it? I’ve heard of turtles and puppies doing things like this, and I wanted to know, would it work for her?

Bunnies can enjoy spending time with a toy, but it isn’t the same as a real bunny. They can provide attention to a toy, but it (obviously) won’t love or care for them back. They’re intelligent animals and know the difference.

If I can ask, why are you not planning to have her spayed?

Some buns become very fond of a stuffy bunny. Others are not interested at all in toys. You can try. Choose a toy for small children and keep an eye so she doesn’t eat it.

Thanks for the advice! To wander your question, I’ve decided to proabably not get her spayed, because I rescued her from an overwhelmed backyard breeder, and one of her littermates had a weak lung/heart that ultimately lead to his death on the operating table, I would have liked to get her spayed and I still want to, it’s just I’m cornered about that weakness passed on to her! Any advice? I would get her spayed by the underdog pet rescue in Madison; Wi, what do you think of them? Should I risk it? ?
