I feel they get more frustrated and are demanding, because animal wise, they want what they want when they want.

All three of my bunnies have expressed jealousy, atleast a few times. My Blue expresses it the most, but hes very expressive in general so its no surprise If my partner or I (especially me) are giving too much attention to Bombur, Blue will slowly crawl on top of him and semi loaf. Bombur doesnt care, because he thinks Blue is trying to cuddle, but in reality, Blue is covering Bombur so we have to pet Blue instead of little Bombi If we talk about either Bombur or Badger too much in front of Blue, he will watch us sadly (sickly looking facial expression, slow movements, obviously upset) until we start to talk about him, and then he will binky around happily. There has been a time or two where he has also thumped because he was unhappy with the “minimal” amount of attention he was getting compared to the other two. Jealous buns are adorable

Not jealous as such but when I’m petting Peanut, Buttercup likes to make sure I’m not giving him any secret treats lol

Lately Bertha has been acting jealous! Moose has been getting a lot of attention because he’s been getting medication and also re-litterbox trained. Last night I was praising moose for using the litter box, and Bertha pushed her way in too, like , “I’m a good bunny too! What about me?!”

Mostly I think she doesn’t want to miss out on secret treats, like Sarah’s bunnies!

What a fun topic idea
Not sure if you can call it jealousy, but Breintje always has a perfect sense of my level of attention, and always knows if that attention is directed at him or not. It’s a bit like having a toddler in the house. When I’m distracted by visitors or when I’m on the phone he starts doing naughty things. And he perfectly knows when I’m watching, because he’ll retreat ever so slowly if I look at him or say his name. Nope, I totally wasn’t about to chew your books, the mere suspicion…

Food jealousy is something we see daily: when we’re eating something he likes he has to have it at well. He can get very thumpy and grumpy if we don’t share a biscuit or a piece of fruit. As long as he’s not agressive we don’t see the need to correct that. It’s hilarious to see a such a teeny tiny bunny with such a big opinion
He does speak up if he feels ignored or excluded in other matters as well. He has this late-evening ritual where he wants to be petted after 10. If I’m using my computer around that time, he’ll hop onto the couch and thump and stare at me until he feels I got the message. Being part of the group is also a big item for him. He follows us around closely: when my BF and I are sitting or standing somewhere he’ll want to sit near to us. That includes squeezing in and nearly sitting on your feet when we’re behind the computer together. And if we’re cuddling or kissing, there’s a big chance that one of our ankles will be headbutted softly. Ahem! I want to be groomed as well!

Whenever we’ve fostered buns or tried to bond, Chewie has gone nuts with jealousy. Similar but milder reaction to my getting hugs from mom or having dinner and conversation with friends. So yes. The green eyed monster can have two long ears and a cottonball tail.
