As some of you may know my two girls have been bonded for 8 months now, almost a year. They are both spayed. They are usually %100 fine and always loving each other, theyre almost like one bunny. Well, recently out of nowhere they have been doing what seems like territorial chasing. Not sure why, nothing has changed. Im am thinking though that its the blanket they are on. They have a room to themselves. and they have a big thick blanket on the ground. Well, recently one of the buns has been peeing on the blanket, which is unusual considering they are both potty trained. Winnie is 2 yrs old and Pepe is 1 yr old already. Im thinking one peed on the blanket and now is becoming territorial, even though its always clean in there and i regulary use vinager water. I was wondering if any one else has ever had issues with a bonded pair and a blanket that they run on. I plan on getting foam puzzle pieces this weekend to replace the blanket and then just put little beds for them to sleep on, if they chose. its really fustrating them. I hate seperating themm but until i get  foam pieces it seems it needs to be done. :/

Does anyone else have this problem? or have used foam pieces for flooring?

        thanks in advance

It might be worth doing some stress bonding or short neutral bonding sessions to repair their bond? I would remove the blanket if that’s what you think is causing the problems.

Yeah, I am taking the blanket away when I get home from work today. and seperating them again. this exact thing happened about 4 months ago. I seperated them, took them out of there environment, bonded again. and then they were good until now.
