Since you mention pets at home I assume you’re in the UK?
I buy 30L of Back2Nature small animal bedding on Amazon for £11.29, and it lasts me well over a month, probably 2. I just checked and I ordered my last one mid-August, and I’ve still got about half the bag left.

I only use a very thin layer on the bottom of the litter trays and its very absorbent and contains smell pretty well. I think they do sell it at P@H too, but I imagine its more expensive.

Now I’ve seen Sarah’s version which is half the price, I’m going to give that a go next time! Although the good thing about Amazon for me is that I don’t have to lug a ridiculously heavy bag home on the bus

I would definitely recommend Back2Nature though, but might be worth giving Sarah’s recommend a go first since it’s cheaper. I’m going to buy a bag too and see how it goes.

Are you in the US? Tractor Supply does 40lb bags of equine pine pellets for $5.99. Usually one bag lasts me about a month and I do litter changes about every other day. That’s for one small rabbit however

 It is nice, no dust, no noticeable odor, and turns into sawdust when liquid touches it. I have also bought untreated wood burning pellets for sale, sometimes if a pallet gets rained on you can get bulk bags for like 50 cents at tractor supply! Just make sure there’s no walnut/cedar in your bedding ingredients if you’re doing wood pellets.Those equine pellets are great, though! I use them for cat litter too haha (about 1/2 bag a week for 2 cats lol)

I’m not sure where it’s available other than the U.S. but I use Yesterday’s News. It works great, you only need a thin layer of it as it’s very absorbent.

We started using a brand called Sophresh. We have 6 bunnies and we LOVE it!! works very well at controlling odor. We mix in some Fresh World bedding.

for my rabvit, I’ve tried many different kinds of litter and have found for us a puppy pee pad or newspaper with lots of hay on top and hay in the hay rack works best for us. it’s cheap as I get hay by the bale and it’s only 6.00 for a bout 50lbs so that could possibly be an option for you to use too. I personally like hay on top of litter because I just feel as if it’s a barrier between the feces and their feet haha and stitch won’t use a box any other way so it works for the both of us
