My bunny is pooping normally but won’t eat or take critical care. Going to take to the vet tomorrow. He has had problems before with a tooth and maybe that could be the cause? Could it just be gas? I saw him make normal poops a few minutes ago but still refuses food. He also laid on his tummy but it doesn’t feel abnormal at all. Any ideas or help?

Im sorry to hear about your rabbit. Pooping is good, at least. I agree with you that maybe it’s his teeth again.

Have you tried offering some baby food like fruit puree or mash pumpkin, critical care if you have it? Soaking pellets until it is a mush and popping it in a bowl for him?

Gas is also possible.. do you have infant gas drops (simethicone) at home? It wouldn’t hurt to try giving him some.

I had to do this for one of my rabbits on Sunday night. It took 3 doses over 3 hours before he finally was acting better. His tummy didn’t feel abnormal either but he was definitely showing signs of discomfort. Sucking his sides in, then lying down different ways to get try get comfortable. Rapid breathing also.
He had gone into a moult so I did wonder if that was affecting him.
