So Lola keep escaping from her pen, I just heard a noise and went down to find her hopping happily down the hall. Luckily she runs right to me so I don’t have to play catch the bunny Anyways her pen is 3 feet tall and it does have a fabric cover to keep her in but lately she’s been finding ways to escape.

        1. The cloth wasn’t taunt enough so she reached up grabbed some and manged to pull it off one corner.

        2. My fault, I didn’t clip the cloth at the gate and she jumped right over.

        3. I have no idea how she got out

and today’s 4. The cover isn’t clipped on the side that attaches to her crate and she manged to slip up and get onto of the crate and onto the floor.

I’ve now locked that part down and I honestly don’t see how she could get out now but I’m still looking to getting a new pen, however there is only one taller size at 4 feet tall and I don’t really want to fork over the $100+ if she could escape out of this one as well. Anyone with Flemish giants have one that can jump over 4 feet? If it helps Lola is four months old and 9 pounds.

I dont know about flemmies but my 4pound lion head can happily clear 4 foot if the mood takes her. Covering the pen is probably the most effective method, as even with the extra height it will still need to be covered.

I would cover the top of the pen, there are covers you can get, but bunny might squeeze under it if its not on tight, My Olly is part giant and can jump quite high, he only jumps out if I have a migraine and leave the chip pan on or something, to tell me something is wrong,

If he can’t jump he throws things to get my attention, some Bunnies can climb up high, oh its fun for bunny, so my furniture is very low,you would think that big bunnies wouldn’t be able to jump, but it is surprising what they can do, the bigger the bun, the more fun, so that means, the bigger the rabbit the more mischief.
