        My bun is 3 months and At the moment i don’t have pellets. Can i give her dry porridge oats? Is it safe for them? 😮

          Are we talking about oatmeal, or actual oats? If oatmeal, no. If oats, yes, but not in large quantities, and you should switch back to good-quality pellets (alfalfa, given that your bunny is 3 months old and needs the protein in alfalfa) and alfalfa hay as soon as you can get them again.

            They would not be a sufficient alternative to a complete pellet. Pellets contain plenty of much needed nutrients.

              Try and get hold of pellets. Buns can have a little bit of rolled oats, but it’s not good for them except if they’re really skinny and need to put on weight after having been ill or had babies.

              Hay is better than oats, so if she’ll eat hay it’s better she eats more of that until you can get pellets again.
