I took him to the Vet on Saturday and she told me to keep my bunny Nesquik on bed rest. I won’t be able to go in for his follow up for x-rays until later this week and I can’t tell if his front left leg is dislocated or broken since he just has it curled/hanging loose when he hops but doesn’t seem to have much feeling in it, plus I have medication for him.

However, after taking out his platforms, slides, and hammock to help him with his recovery, he’s gotten very depressed. He still eats, drinks water and grooms himself as best as he can, but the poor thing just plops on his side and lays down when he’s not doing anything of the three. He hasn’t shown much interest in some of his chew toys either, and I don’t know what to do to keep him entertained. I stay by him as much as I can and try to pet him when he comes up to whichever side of the cage I’m at. But it just breaks my heart. Any suggestions on how to keep him in a better mood in the meantime? I know he’s upset with me for taking out a lot of his toys/items…
