  ive noticed that victoria shakes and scratches her ears pretty often. she doesnt scratch them to the point where they are red and irritated, but she does it a lot. i used a flashlight and from my point of view, i cant see anything. no debris or mites. the vet can look deeper into the ear but does anyone know why she does this?

  Sometimes rabbits just do it for grooming purposes. If she’s shedding/molting right now, her ears may be getting tickled by stray fur flying into them.
  
  If the fur on her ears are as they normally are, the skin is normal (not red, flaky, dry, etc.), the passages look clean to you, and she’s behaving normally, I’d say it’s regular rabbit behavior.
  
  To get some detail though, what is “pretty often”, in terms of frequency? Is there an instance where she usually does it (in her cage, after grooming, during grooming?)

  she is actually shedding right now, and she started doing it a little bit after she started shedding. she does it when shes out for playtime, ive never seen her scratch in her cage. and yes she does it mostly during grooming, but sometimes randomly.
