So in my previous post I stated that Finn got into something he shouldn’t have, he is acting normal moving around eating and drinking but he is not pooping anymore. It has been a few hours since I’ve seen any poops, should we go to the vet?

Yes, he may have blockage!!! Not pooping is very bad for rabbits. It’s only been a few hours, but considering the ingestion, it’s probably best to go within the next few hours if possible!

We just got home we got an xray and there was no wipe… just a large gas bubble. We got some medicine to speed up digestion we’re going to start belly massages with an electric toothbrush handle and start giving a bit of leafy greens twice daily. If his appetite slows down we’ll do some critical care.

Good luck! Gas is never any fun but at least it’s not a blockage.

He’s pooping again! Thank goodness! Still a bit less than I would hope but it’s a start.

Splendid! Keep going with the care plan as established and he should be prime again in no time.
