I saw this recipe on Pinterest – what does the ‘veteran’ bunny parents think of this recipe for homemade bunny treats?

All the ingredients look fine for treats (fed in moderation) to me! I personally would maybe omit the honey and just add more banana to help it hold together, since that’s more natural sugars. I may have to try this

I agree with Thor, I’d forgo the honey. In fact I’d probably also skip the oats and pumpkin. Basically I’d just smush pellet mash and banana

I appreciate you rinput – the honey had me a little nervous too
Guess I’ll be doing a little baking for Louie this weekend and putting my little cookie cutters to work!

Just make sure they don’t go wild and get into a tug-of-war when you hand out these scrumptious little cookies! I have to be careful about that when giving my own buns anything with banana in it…

I make a similar recipe but uses shredded carrots instead of pumpkin. Buns love it.

Would pureed baby food work instead of fresh fruit?
