Hi Olly! Hunting is clearly enjoyable for you, but since Mummy can’t watch you constantly, if you get in the habit of jumping at every spider/bug you see, you may end up hunting a dangerous one, or having one be a bit too quick and it hitches a ride on you! The chances are slim unless your Mummy plans on bringing anything new in the environment, but being on the safe side isn’t too bad. Wick once found a bug in his bag of hay and I freaked out, thinking it was a tick or something! It ended up being a weevil, but nonetheless, Wick wasn’t expecting it. Some bugs like to lay their eggs in your -number twos- or around that general area, and since you’re so fluffy, it’d be hard for Mummy to see it right away.

I think the safe bet is for you and Mummy to work out how to satisfy your hunting some way else, whether it’s Mummy gets you some toys that move like bugs, or you help Mummy seal off places that may let those little critters get in.

Again, long-term, this may be harmless, but just in case, it may be good to avert your energy into something more safe!
