Toffee could have an upper respiratory infection. Have you had toffee examined by an exotic vet yet? It’s a good idea, especially since he’s from a breeder.

The wait should be ok. Of course, if you notice it gets worse or hes struggling to breathe, head to an emergency vet asap

When we first got our third rabbit Cofi, he was also sneezing a lot. He was 3 months old when we got him. At the petstore they told us he has hay allergies, so whenever we gave him hay, we shaked it so there were less tiny dust particles in the hay to bother him. This helped a lot, if we didn’t shake out the hay dust he would sneeze. After a few months the sneezing stopped completely. So maybe he grew out of his allergies.

So it could be hay allergies? Or maybe he has a cold/infection?
But if he only sneezes when he eats hay my bet would be that hay dust is bothering him.

One of my buns, Bombur, sneezes a bit too. He’s also a Holland Lop and he’s almost 5 months old. The vet said he just has allergies to the environment. We live in an area with a lot of pine and pollen. So it could be environmental allergies too.

When I got Bertie he was sneezing a bit, then it got progressively worse over a few weeks. Turned out he had Bordatella which we treated with Baytril for a month and he was fine. He still sneezes every once in a while, but not too often and he’s been clear of the infection for over a year.

It sounds like it isn’t an emergency, but definitely worth checking in with the vet. Hugs to Toffee! Have you posted pics?
