  Olly is going through another molt, today I stroked him and he didn’t feel that silky, his coat feels dry and greasy, I know not to give him a bath because that will wash out the natural oils in his fur, also the heating has gone ‘Bang’ again and I don’t want him to get cold.
  
  He’s well and happy, so it must just be one of those things, he felt like one of those terrier dogs.

  Could he have shed his soft underhair so it’s only the guard hairs that remain?
