        Hi guys,

I’ve always read that bunnies mark what they like/own by chinning, and only lick to show affection. However, Tambor seems to lick the things he wants to mark as his territory. For example, my husband’s pillow, the wall, the perimeter of the sofa, the floor before he lays on it, etc.

Is it normal bunny behavior and do your bunnies do it too? I’ve only seen him chin once before (my husband’s slippers).

        Hugs!

Chewie does chin, but he’s always been much more of a licker. His grandpa jokes and says the two of them will start an organic cleaning company.

And then tackle the house plants.

He doesn’t exhibit territorial behaviour per se because he’s VERY secure that he’s king of the roost. But when we have overnight guests (hoomins or bunnies) he goes a bit macho nutter.
