So I checked my little Holland lop Ceces water bowl and it had a bunch of mushy pellet looking substance inside. My first though was puke, but I saw that bunnies are incapable of puking? She’s been very good about eating and drinking, and basically totally healthy. Does anyone know why this could be? Her pellets were also crumbly when I checked them, like they got wet somehow. I really hope all is well… ?

Is the food near the water? If they are close together then some of the food may have just fallen into it.

            Hi there.
You are right bunnies cannot vomit, so its not that. I would say a stray pellet has got in the bowl.

You’re right, rabbits can’t puke. It must be pellets that got into the water and water into the pellets to make them so mushy.

Pellets go soggy pretty quick, and even if they aren’t near the water bowl your rabbit could have just moved some in there. I don’t think you have anything to worry about.
