So, i have my bunny for 4 years now. he’s very used to me and mt family, as well as the house. he usually sleeps in my room, and it’s whete he chooses to spend most of his time. Nothing’s changed today, everything is normal and before we went to sleep, he was eating and eating normally.
I was asleep (it’s currently 2AM here), and suddenly he started thumping, not very uncommon, but usually he calms down after the first minutes, or after i talk to him and pet him. But this time is different… when he wasn’t stopping, i tried to calm him down and he seemed really scared… i can’t tell if he actually recognized me, for a moment i thought he was blind, cause it seemed like he couldn’t focus on anything, but was still following my voice. but then, i held him in my arms (he usually lets me and calms down), but he just jumped straight to the bed and onto the chair, and floor.. so i guess he’s seeing just fine. anyways, he wont stop the thumping and i just don’t know what to do i’m really worried he might me sick or in pain.
        does anyone have any tips?

This is probably not the case but only time my rabbits have acted like this, happened when a mouse wandered into their enclosure! Maybe something spooked him?
