II’ve had to confiscate one of the bun’s toys because Peanut decided to eat it  He just don’t understand that plastic isn’t edible 

I had to confiscate lots of things from Yohio. I bet he thought I was such a party pooper. Shoes, bags, the dustpan, a whole bag of jellybeans that he tried to steal.

I had to move a poster from Panda’s room once. He had figured out how to take down the poster,drag it to his hideout and chewed half of it! I don’t think he has forgiven me yet.

I’ve also had to confiscate a many of things. Most recently, Quincy has been gnawing his plastic bin that attaches to the cage. Initially I had put his pellets in it, but then I switched to putting them in a treat ball. I know, taking away his pellet/hay rack… but he was really doing some damage!! Lol

I’ve taken literally hundreds of things away from Tony to keep him safe. He gets really grumpy because I know he worked really hard to get into the bathroom cabinet and he deserves that face mask as much as anyone else! But you’re totally right, better safe than sorry

No, not cruel at all. I always think of rabbits as toddlers: they can be very curious, stubborn and often can’t oversee the results of their actions. It’s good to let them experiment and have fun, but you should protect them from harm caused by their own curiosity.

We had to take out all soft items from Breintjes cage, because he kept peeing on them and making a huge mess. Now he just sits on a sheet of cardboard, and the only soft place is his litter box. The rest of the day he roams free in the living room, but at night he has to stay in his cage. Less comfortable? Maybe… Cruel? No! It’s safer and more hygienic for him now, and the cardboard doesn’t seem to harm his feet.
