        Hello,

I let my bunny out his cage every morning and he usually runs around, thismorning he didnt. I offered him his favourite food (kale) and he refused it, he also refused drinking water. He seems a lot more placid and i was wondering if he was just sleepy or sick? Not sure whether to call the vet.

        Thanks

He should see a vet ASAP. Is he eating anything? He could have gas or be going into stasis.

          Has he been pooping normally?

How is your bunny doing now?

If a bunny wont eat, its always serious. Sometimes it’s gas, so you can try giving baby gas drops (simethicone) and see if it helps within 20-30 minutes. Also try to make the bun move around to help gas escape.

If it’s not gas, a vet must be contacted. A bunny can’t go many hours without eating.
