I’ve let *Fern out of her cage to play since July 27th, two days after I bought her. She seemed really excited and was binkying all over the place, and she still does bunny flops under my bed and against the walls, but now she seems less interested to come out to play. I’m using several toys when she’s out and I hand feed her hay for bonding. Is she stressed? She seems relaxed, could she just be bored and need more new toys and stimulation?

Edit: She went back to enjoying free range time, I guess she just had a bad day.

*Her name is no longer Fern, it’s Phoebe

Make sure you are aware of these “bad days”. it could signal illness which at that point may be too late since bunnies try their best to mask their pain. if she’s sitting in the back of the pen looking uncomfortable of lethargic, i would bring her in to see a vet in the future. Also, if you would like to see her become more interested, try moving around things like cardboard boxes, tunnels, etc. That always gets my bunns going
