So I have to contact my Community Worker from the blind agency via email, so that the information is clear, so his assistant or computer talking device can read it, my Community Worker is blind, I need to send some details over that his assistant put down incorrectly, like my surname and next of kin details.
I always have problems writing my first emails, I do know to keep things simple and get to the point, same as letters, for example not Dear ‘Name’ I went to post the information last week, it was raining and I saw Mrs.Smith and we stopped in the cafe for a cup of tea and a cream cake, my shoes were wet through, on the way back a bus passed and splashed water all over me, I was like a drowned rat.
Nope, letters don’t need to be like that, unless its for Grandma or Granddad or someone.
I want to first start with thanking him and his friend for coming over, (Friend sounds better than putting assistant.) then get to the point.
Do I put Thank you for visiting me and Olly Rabbit on he 24th July (He did meet Olly)
Or
Thank you for Visiting Olly and myself on the 24th July
Or
Thank you for visiting Me and Olly on the 24th July
Or just
Thank you for visiting on 24th July
I could do with a secretary but I can’t afford one
