Hi guys, I adopted Cinnabun about 2 weeks ago, she is 6 years old and just got spayed about 3 weeks ago. I have been having problems litter training her but I seemed to have fix that by moving the litter box to a different location. I want her to be free roam but because she had issues litter training I’ve blocked off her area to just the kitchen to prevent her from peeing/pooing everywhere. There are still a few droppings here and there but definitely not as much. She’s also gotten more used to me and her aggression has gone way down since last week which is good, she likes pets now and for the past week she has been in pretty good shape!
This morning when I went to feed her breakfast, however, I walked into the kitchen and discovered a HUGE mess. No pee/poo everywhere, but rather, hay from digging from what seems like litter box digging was scattered all over her area, her fleece blanket was thrown across the space, and her cardboard box was upside down and on the other side of her space. She looked at me all cute like “breakfast?” and she was very excited to see me, the second I stepped in she kept booping my legs and asking for pets. I’m wondering why she made such a mess and if there is something she doesn’t like. She is definitely getting more and more rambunctious as time goes on. Any input would be helpful, thank you guys!!!
