10 months is a good age for a spay. Ideally they should be spayed between 6 months and a year.

Spaying will most likely help with aggression. It will also be good for her health. Uterine cancer is very common in does over the age of 3 years.

A clinic that does spays and neuters on bunnies, for example for shelters, gathers lots of experience. Experience and the right equipment (like bun appropriate anesthetics) are really important, so a clinic like that sounds good to me.

1) Good age. It’s disrupting hormones in rabbits, so the timing, whether it’s a month before or after, is pretty negligible. Your rabbit will react the same, with exception if you try and spay a rabbit during a time when they’re weak/fragile (old, currently going through treatment for something)

2) A clinic that only spays and neuters rabbits is probably one of the safest options! Going to a dog/cat vet adds a high probability that the vet is not experienced with rabbits, drastically increasing the risk of surgery. There are many life/death discrepancies between prep/operation on dogs/cats vs. rabbits.

3) It will most likely make her more calm, but many rabbits will never really like being touched too often, so keep that in mind!

4) If she’s healthy, this age should be fine!

— I’ll mention I do not have a female rabbit; Wick is a male, so I have not personally gone through a spay, but there are similarities for these procedures in terms of who to go to and what to expect!
