So I’m in a bit of a dilemma. I live and help out on a ranch that does year long evenings for families and kids. We have 3 male unnewtered rabbits that have been living in cages for the past few months. Two of them have been living together just fine, no fights at all. I’ve hated that they’ve been living without a place to run around, especially since one is without a companion so I finally convince them to fence an area just for the bunnies to run around in during the day and get some excersize and play time. I had hopes they’d all become friends and be happy together, but after further research I’ve found that bonding them will be extremely difficult. We have a few more male baby bunnies living inside with their mom that I’d hoped to bond with them as well. It doesn’t seem possible at the moment for us to get them all neutered. For one, it’s expensive. Counting out does and babies we have 11 bunnies in total. To get them all nurtured would be an enormous price. We also can’t find a place that would have the experience to spay or neuter bunnies since we live in a very small town. The last vet we asked just laughed at us. I want to give these bunnies a good life in good company instead of keeping them locked alone in cages the rest of their lives, so is it possible to bond them? They’d get separate hutches to sleep in at night time, but Is it possible for them to befriend eachother and run around suing the day in harmony? We plan to do the same with our does (although I have more confidence in bonding them as we’ve already bonded two sets of unnewtered girls).

You cannot bond hormonal rabbits. Both bunnies need to be neutered first. Youre risking a bloody mess and death by letting them play together. Coupled with them being around unspayed rabbits, youre risking even more babies.
