Hello, I have two bunnies. I adopted them at nine months from a shelter and they are still very timid. Got them in feb. I try to groom them often since they are really shedding and they hate it. I feel like it is ruining the small bond we were starting to have. Help? P.S I use a bristle brush.

I also recently got a bun. For Rocket (my bun), first I took her into the bathroom, let her run around and tire herself out, then she became very tired and submissive. At that point, I was able to put her in my lap and brush her.
Try to tire them out and then try to get them comfortable in your lap. After you brush them, give them a small treat. That way, they will associate brushing with a positive reward.
          I hope this helped ^^

I got my bunnies from a shelter where they were abused beforehand so that will NOT let me pick them up. Trimming their nail is very hard!
