Hi, I hope someone can give me some advice. I have two male nuetered Holland lops. My first, Claude is about a year old. I recently added Finn, who is just about 7 months. Finn was nuetered 5 weeks ago. I only waited about 3 weeks after his surgery to start bonding. They are doing great, always snuggling, and they have been living together for almost a week. Claude had been doing great with litter training, but Finn is still catching on. He likes to go in three places. One spot in the cage and 2 spots outside the cage in his xpen. My last bunny Luna, who passed earlier this year was a free range rabbit who only ever needed one litter pan. My goal is have both Claude and Finn free range in the house but I’m worried Finn needs too many litter pans. He already has three spots in just his xpen where he likes to go. My house is on the small side and I’d hate to have litter pans all over the place as space is tight. Is he just adjusting to his new bond and living arrangements? It’s been 5 weeks since his nueter. Is it possible he still has hormones causing him to mark? As he gets older, can I gradually decrease the amount of litter pans?
