  This is more of a curiosity. I got my rabbits from a pet store (I regret not rescuing but I love my babies regardless) so I don’t know their breed. One of them is progressively getting darker. He’s beige except for his nose, eyes, and ears. It’s not in the same distinctive patter as a dutch though. I was just wondering if anyone knew if that was normal or what. Not really a big deal though, I’m just curious. The other one is actually getting lighter! He was white and a very soft tan/beige color with the dutch coloring but now only his head shows color. The color is still there but it’s so light you can’t tell!

  It’s very common for rabbits, especially young ones, to change colour as they moult through their coats. Some rabbits with pointed coats will get lighter in the summer, some colours such as sable get darker from a kit to adult. Some rabbits change colour a little throughout their whole lives with every shed of their coat. So it’s nothing to be concerned about, but it is interesting to watch

  Yeah, I think they just blew their coat. The house is full of bunny fur! @.@ I heard giving them a bunch of paper to shred and whatnot is a good way to keep the fur from flying everywhere is that true? I groom them but it’s still everywhere xD

  Only way to keep the fur out of the air is to groom them frequently and to vacuum & sweep the room often I got so much fluff bouncing around that my place looks like a far west setting… even if I clean ==
