That is outrageously tiny for a rabbit that would be confined for any period of time :-/ What size cage is she in now?

I agree that it’s much too small. You would be better off buying an x-pen and setting that up as a permanent home rather than having this, you can find some good deals on x-pens so it would probably be cheaper as well, not to mention provide much more space. Either that or buy some more grids and create a larger storage grid cage.

When I kept Thor in here, it worked really well to keep her contained and provided lots of room for toys and a litter box. I really think this is the minimum size that rabbits should have for their home area, to be humane they should be able to take several hops and be able to stand up fully on their hind legs. Rabbits don’t need designated rabbit cages, they can live in many other safe environments!

There are lots of ways to do it and you will find your rabbit is much happier and more interactive when they have more room My bun doesn’t even have a cage anymore, she is free roam in our apartment. This is not possible for all rabbits, it depends on how destructive they are, but you can try giving her out of cage time to interact with you in a bunny-proofed room (no exposed wires or dangerous items). It is a lot of fun living in the same space as your rabbit

Edit: Just re-read your post that Clementine is only 5 months old. If she is not spayed yet, litter training may be a bit more difficult, so you would want to watch out for that if you let her out in a larger space. Almost all rabbits can be very well litter trained once they are fixed, and many do well before that as well!

I read all of your comments, I’m surprised to hear that it’s small, a lot of people have been saying it’s big, but what got me concerned was they said it seemed a bit cheap in quality.
Right now I can’t give a measurement of the current cage since I’m on a work trip, she is currently being cared for by a family member that has experience with rabbits.
She does suck at her litter training outside of her cage, but I vacuum the room as often as possible.
I will go with the xpen idea in that case, thanks for the advice and opinions.

That cage would be acceptable only if it was used as a home base for a free roam rabbit. Or if a very large pen was attached permanently that the bunny had access too 24/7.
