I’ve had my 4 pound rex bunny, Louie about a month now and I’m feeding him twice a day.

I’ve been trying to let him play before he eats but since he’s getting used to returning to his cage when his little clicker is sounded, I’m letting him stay out longer and more frequently.

Should I be waiting to let his food digest before letting him play after eating?  I’ve read some bunnies can get digestive problems exercising right after and I wasn’t sure how long to wait

        thanks!

Rabbits are grazing animals and they should be eating hay throughout the day. Maybe you are talking about feeding him pellets or greens twice a day. In any case, there is no need to delay his play and exercise time after he has eaten. Movement is good for rabbits. Moving around can even help in case they get gas, which sometimes happens.
