  So my girl is getting spayed in two days, and our boy is already netured.. do you think its a bad idea to have their cages in the same room untill after her sugery? They haven’t veen in the same room yet. Im just thinking because she will smell different when she gets back from the vets..so idk if its a good idea for my boy to get sort of used to one smell, then it change..also im thinking once shes all healed it will make the bonding process easier because they already know eachothers scent and have seen eachother..opinions?

  It depends how they go. It might be a bit too stressful for her, if they’re simply curious it might be alright, but I wouldn’t want to make her stressed right before a big operation. It might be better off waiting till about a week after her surgery when she’s recovered. You shouldn’t start to bond them until 6 weeks after her surgery anyway, so there will be plenty of time for them to get used to each other’s smell before then
