  I brought home Sprocket on Friday and he has been great. However, he hasn’t been eating very much which worries me. He nibbles on some hay once in a while but he eats more of his hay toy ball. He also haven’t been pooping very much. I found only a few poops. He is seeing normal and drinking. He did eat 5 clovers yesterday when I gave him some as treats.
  
  He has been fairly active but this afternoon he has been snoozing a lot. It is a rainy day and during the day which I know bunnies sleep though.
  
  I am walking to the pet store now to get Timothy hay instead of the alfalfa as well as some pellets. I contacted the people I got him from as well and waiting to hear back now.
  
  Is this normal as he is adjusting to a new home and all. After Rookie I’m just super paranoid and worried.

  So it seems he is just not a fan of alfalfa hay…go figure…i got him some Orchard Grass Hay and he had a bit immediately…i also got him some pellets…wasnt a huge fan but had about 4-5 pieces. Now let’s see some poops!

  That’s good he’s eating the new hay. Hopefully there will be more poops now .

  All is good. He is eating well both alfalfa hay and orchard grass… picky eater appearantly. Lol
  Now I’m trying to decide if he could potentially have an ear infection or just obsessive cleaner. He does the ear wiped post out of cage time and me petting him lots.
  I looked in his ear but didn’t see anything. I will make him a check up appointment with vet for maybe next week or Saturday just in case.
  Just after Rookie I am scared to have him already on meds and sick

  Hopefully everything is ok. Besides, it will be good to introduce your vet to him and get him a file started and a general checkup.

  He doesn’t shake his head and he doesn’t scratch the ear often either…he does the fold down and lick the ears a lot. Problem is I haven’t had him long enough yet to know his quirks and patterns

  Came back from our first vet visit….ears and teeth look good…weighing in at a whopping 1.2kg…lol…
  Overall healthy baby bun. Still doing a poop test so that’s still pending but not expecting any problems just a precautionary test.

  That’s good. I guess he just really likes clean ears .
