        I know it’s common in teenage rabbits to hump things but my rabbit is 5 years old and way past his teenager years. He isn’t neutered yet (getting hom checked to see if he can get neutered) but he will sniff my arm and then go wild! He’ll hump anything he can get his paws on from my small dogs to blankets, arms, knees, and stuffed animals. I’m curious mainly because he never seemed to act like an unaltered male- he smwas never aggressive or destructive, and he didn’t hump anything till about a year ago. It was fine for a while but he’s started doing it more and more lately. I can’t even pick him up without him trying to hump the air ;-;

          Humping is normal, that’s for sure. I just went through this with my 7 year old rabbits. The vet determined it was stress. BUT they are both neutered. In your case, it could be as simple as spring hormones. Or maybe he’s feeling insecure and territorial for some reason. There are some medical issues associated with humping, but they are less common.
